Within Bangladeshl lies Khidirpur village, where ten languages have already gone fast to sleep - with no recordings, no written documentation, and  no more speakers left. Bhumij, a language of the Austro-Asiatic Kol-Munda family, only lives within 4 remaining families, and is quickly following the other now-sleeping languages. Haque and Soren take a look into what lead this rich and diverse linguistic region into such decline and silence, and what initiatives tried to divert the crisis, and further discuss the cultural legacies that have vanished along with the languages.
