"Inspired by the recent events on Maunakea, some of Hawaiʻi’s most notable and accomplished recording artists and composers joined their voices to record “Kū Haʻaheo E Kuʻu Hawaiʻi.” Composed by Hinaleimoana Wong, this mele has become a rallying call for our lāhui to aloha ʻāina. “Kū Haʻaheo” will be included on a soon to be released album entitled “Kūhaʻo Maunakea” – a compilation featuring 18 new compositions documenting the events and swell of Hawaiian community unity around aloha ʻāina associated with the Kū Kiaʻi Mauna movement.
