/Just As I Am (Lyrics in Navajo)
This video provides the lyrics to "Just As I Am, Without One Plea (T'áá Kónísht'éego)." The song was originally written by Charlotte Elliott (1789-1871) and the music is attributed to William B. Bradbury (1816-1868 ). This translation into the Navajo language was done by tW. and F. Bitsey. This song was performed by The Gospel Light Echoes & is on their CD entitled "Hymns of Our Navajo Elders." The literal English translation is written below each Navajo word to help learn the words and meaning of the song. Enjoy!
