Apurinã belongs to the Arawak family, with a few hundreds of speakers scattered along the tributaries of the Purus river basin, in Northwestern Brazilian Amazon. The collection here includes a preliminary sketch of the grammar of the language, a lexicon for fauna and flora and a few texts transcribed and interlinearized.
