"Primarily spoken in Churachandpur district of Manipur. Some of the important settlements of Paites in Chrachandpur district are: New Lamka, Pearson, Bungmual, Khuga dam (Mata), Tuithapi, and in the district sub divisions of Thanlon and Singat. In Myanmar (Burma), the language is subsumed under Tiddim-Chin. The speakers are also found in Mizoram." (Pg. 99)
