Since today is the first day of Spring, I figured the best way to incorporate this into a lesson is to cover how to say the four seasons in Navajo. The four seasons beginning with Fall are: Ak'eed: Fall Hai: Winter Daan: Spring Shí̜: Summer This lesson also covers how to use them in a sentence, describing how you have to add on the segment "-go" to the end of these words to properly use them in a sentence. The examples used were: Ak'eego níyol łeh. It is usually windy in the fall.) Haigo deesk'aaz łeh. (It is usually cold in the winter.) Daago honeezílí̜ łeh. (It is usually warm in the spring.) Shí̜i̜go deesdoi łeh. (It is usually hot in the summer.) This video also introduces new vocabulary: níyol (windy), deesk'aaz (cold), honeezílí̜ (warm), and deesdoi (hot).
