Os falantes dessa língua distribuem-se ao longo dos igarapés Timbaúba, Meia Dúzia, República, Capanawa e na margem esquerda do rio Môa. Em sua maioria, encontram-se no interior da Terra Indígena (TI) Nukini, no Município de Mâncio Lima, no Estado do Acre. Em 2003, nessa TI habitavam aproximadamente 553 Nukini. É também possível localizar alguns integrantes desse povo em outros municípios do Estado do Acre, como Cruzeiro do Sul, Rodrigues Alves e Rio Branco. (p. 416)
[The speakers of this language are distributed along the igarapés Timbaúba, Meia Dúzia, República, Capanawa and the left bank of the Môa River. Mostly they are found inside the Nukini Indigenous Land, in the Municipality of Mâncio Lima, in the state of Acre. In 2003, in this TI approximately 553 Nukini lived. It is also possible to locate some members of this people in other municipalities in the state of Acre, such as Cruzeiro do Sul, Rio Branco and Rodrigues Alves.
