"[The speakers of Deg] inhabit an area on the western side of Ghana that spreads from Jama (a short distance from the Ivory Coast border) in the Northern Region down to the Black Volta river, across into the Brong-Ahafo Region as far north as Kelanda and as far south as Subinso. Clusters are to be found also in and around the main cities of Ghana and close to the Ghanaian western border in Ivory Coast."
