Le peuple Ese Ejja est dispersé dans neuf communautés au Pérou et en Bolivie. Dans la plupart des communautés boliviennes, les femmes tissent de très belles nattes avec une plante locale, la hoja redonda, pour ensuite les vendre en ville. Ce documentaire réalisé dans la communauté de Portachuelo Bajo montre les multiples étapes nécessaires à la confection de ces nattes.
El pueblo Ese Ejja se encuentra dispersado en nueve comunidades en Perú y Bolivia. En la mayoría des las comunidades bolivianas, las mujeres tejen esteras con una planta endémica, la hoja redonda. Después se las venden en la ciudad. Este documentario realizado en Portachuelo Bajo muestra las varias etapas para tejer esas esteras.
The Ese Ejja people are dispersed across nine communities in Peru and Bolivia. In most Bolivian communities, women weave very beautiful mats with a local plant, the hoja redonda, to then sell them in town. This documentary, made in the community of Portachuelo Bajo, shows the multiple steps required to make these mats.
