/Navajo Word of the Day - "Bridge"
Today's Navajo Word of the Day is "na'ní'á," which means "bridge" in Navajo. This word basically describes some kind of solid expanse that crosses over in a horizontal fashion. These are the phrases used in the video: Díí óolyé Na'ní'á. (This is what you call a Bridge.) Díí ałdó' óolyé Na'ní'á. (This is also what you call a Bridge.) Chidí deiyíjeehígíí bikáa'di ha'naa na'ní'á. (There is a bridge over the car traffic.) Áko díí ha'naa na'ní'áhígíí bikáa'di diné nehekááh. (On this bridge, people walk on it.) Atiin tsé'naagóó nehekááh. (They cross over the road.) Again, this video was filmed while I was in Las Vegas.
