/Navajo Word of the Day - "January"
Since it is early in the month, I figured a useful word to know is January, which is "Yas Niłt'ees." This word basically describes frying snow. To use it in a sentence, you can say, "Díí yiziłígíí éí Yas Niłt'ees wolyé," which means, "This month is called January." The breakdown: Díí: this Yiziłígíí: particular month Éí:it Yas Niłt'ees: January Wolyé: it is called In addition, I also give a little background into the history of January... what little I know that is... :-)
