"According to 2010 Census of Population and Housing in Zambia, there were about 6,760 Native speakers of Kunda (Central Statistical Office, 2010). However, due to CSO‟s limitation in the collection of linguistic data, the number of speakers could either be higher or lower. The linguistic data collected by CSO does not capture the actual language practices of a group of speakers as is the case with sociolinguistic studies."
