A língua mirandesa, ou mirandês, é um idioma pertencente ao grupo asturo-leonês, com estatuto de segunda língua oficial em Portugal, reconhecida oficialmente e assim protegida. É falada por menos de quinze mil pessoas no concelho de Miranda do Douro e em três aldeias do concelho de Vimioso, num espaço de 484 km², estendendo-se a sua influência por outras aldeias dos concelhos de Vimioso, Mogadouro, Macedo de Cavaleiros e Bragança.
