This video provides the lyrics to "Satisfied (Jesus T'éí Bee Hwiih Ídlí)." This song is also called "All My Life Long I Had Panted." The song was originally written by Clara Tear Williams (1858-1937) and the music is attributed to Ralph E. Hudson. This translation into the Navajo language was done by the Navajo Hymnal Committee. The song is performed by Larry Kaibetoney. He was nominated this year (2010) for a Native American Music Award in the category "BEST GOSPEL/INSPIRATIONAL RECORDING." This song is a track off his CD entitled "Doo Lado Shi diyin da," which helped him win this nomination. The literal English translation is written below each Navajo word to help learn the words and meaning of the song. Enjoy!
