A Spanish-Zoque vocabulary of approximately 180 words obtained from Oneciforo Mendoza, a speaker of Zoque from Tapijulapa, a pueblo in the Mexican state of Tabasco. The vocabulary is not in alphabetical order, but arranged loosely by subject. The last two pages list the words for cardinal numbers in the Zoque language. A preface by Berendt refers to Mendoza and includes brief notes on orthography.
